Some of the teachers are good, while others aren’t. The principal is the worst, and the front desk staff is very mean. If someone thinks they’re very nice, then maybe the principal and front desk are treating people differently — possibly even unfairly or with bias.
Posted by a community member on 10/3/2025I don't like this school the teachers were rude the staff was mean too did not learn anything from this school and don't want to come back here again they have favorites and they were sexist the staff would favorite the girls and liked them more than the boys when you had a problem with a student or
Posted by a community member on 7/19/2023Great school. Classrooms are full!! 34 kids per class is quite a crowd. Despite this the experience is very positive. My first grader comes back home beaming.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAt first, we really liked Saint Matthew for our children. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated over the past couple years and I see no real improvement happening anytime soon. The communication with families about what is going on at school is abysmal, there are a burdensome number of required volunteer obligations that don’t take working parents into account, there aren’t enough staff to properly supervise the younger kids. We also have zero insight into the curriculum. Other schools post them on their website, but Saint Matthew does not. When I asked my child’s teacher for a copy of the curriculum, I was told it wasn’t available. And there really is a bullying problem.
