Happy Valley Elementary School

My son transferred from Portland Public Schools and so far he feels very welcomed. The teacher is extremely warm and outgoing and has made him feel really good about himself. Also the reward systems they’re implementing in the classroom to encourage positive behavior works well for my child.

This school has done a great job all the way around. The staff is helpful, patient, understanding, kind and always willing to help! They have exceeded my expectations and I'm extremely impressed with the school and staff! Great School!!!

Our kids have been going to HVE for years. Staff is great and the school has done a good job managing state budget cuts and class sizes. Teachers genuinely care about students.

Poorly managed, huge class sizes, very disappointed in my child's experience at this school.

Our family moved to Happy Valley for good quality education. Although it was a rough few years with class sizes expanding, the faculty, staff and volunteer community embraced this need and rose to the occasion. We have been happy with our decision and appreciate all the hard work and dedication that we have witnessed. I am proud to be a part of the community and even more satisfied with the quality of education that my children have received.
