My son transferred from Portland Public Schools and so far he feels very welcomed. The teacher is extremely warm and outgoing and has made him feel really good about himself. Also the reward systems they’re implementing in the classroom to encourage positive behavior works well for my child.

Although it was a rough few years with class sizes expanding, the faculty, staff and volunteer community embraced this need and rose to the occasion. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers care, but they are not supported. if your kid is falling behind or inconvenient, they seem to label them as bad and offer minimal help, which I am not convinced is even given unless followed up on rigorously. They barely listen to concerns and seem to have behavior and academic problems all figured out no matter what input a parent gives, and extra is only provided if you ask to record meetings.... I do not trust the staff, with my child's well-being or academics. Luckily, they have a lot of outside help.
