My daughter was in different schools in the USA Canada and germany. This one was the worst school this far. To many money cuts in the school district. Stuff was not caring for the kids and don't see each individual or talents. But the luches were good.

We love this school! My daughters went there and excelled at GBHS and then in college. The staff is caring and work with families very well. They have had significant budget cuts but continue to do the best with what they have. Great School for a small rural community!

Horrible. Wish there were another elementary school in Gold Beach I could send my child to.

I have loved this school district since 2009 when myself and my son moved here. The teachers truly love the children and do all they can to include financially paying for items out of their own pockets to ensure the children have what they need to excel. The school is small and the district may have financial issues... That does not mean the kids don't excel due to budget issues. It just means things are tightened up for awhile whilst the economy recover. The staff and principal are wonderful people and I am proud to say my son was a Cub and now is a Panther in the very same district. I recommend this school and area if you appreciate small town friendly living. If you aren't used to it, it may seem foreign. That doesn't mean bad. Thanks Curry School District!

I do not recommend this school/district! If you are considering living in Gold Beach, do some research. Look up past articles in the Curry County Reporter, available online. About a quarter of the teaching staff was laid off for the coming 2011-12 school year. Class sizes will be larger and some will be mixed grades. Curry County is also in extremely serious financial trouble. Should you need pediatric care be prepared to travel. Special ed can be extremely difficult to obtain if needed. There are some staff that try and I think genuinely care. A few in significant positions have not lived up to their responsibility, in my experience. This is a beautiful area, but we paid too great a price for our family and I regret moving to Gold Beach.
