St John Lutheran School

We moved out here from White City and MVE school...I have been disappointed all year. The parent group was very "closed" when it came to new parents wanting to help. My daughter won a pizza lunch and they "lost" her ticket for that and now are not giving her a pizza lunch...they have not been very good at "new student" welcom-ness...she has hated this school since starting...her teacher is ok...but she seems very overwhelmed...and I understand that...and am there helping out as much as I can...but over all...I will be glad to move her out of there next year when we move...

Voted Outstanding School in the district 2010-2011. Principal was also voted Outstanding Principal in the district.

I have 3 children who attend here. I love all the teachers!!! I have never had a problem with any of the teachers and have felt the curriculum is age appropriate. I do feel that Mr. Hedrick could be more out and about greeting families. I did experience one of my children being bullied and he didn't really resolve the situation. The PTA seems very involved and appreciate all their hard work. I do wish there were more options for music and art. As far as safety I do feel there could be more safety measures taken besides just parent sign in at the office. The front office ladies always seem kind and helpful. I would rate this school just average.
