Posted by a parent on 2/5/2018We are so blessed to have teachers who are passionate and compassionate. The desire to see all kids succeed in multiple aspects of their character is evident. There are classes and experiences offered here that you won't find anywhere else. Truly, any other school in our area simply cannot compete.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is such a great school! I have kiddos in preschool, now pre-kindergarten, and first grade and this is thier first year at this school. I could not be happier! Both my boys love going to school here and really enjoy the after care program. My 1st grader had a hard time at his last school because most of the kids knew eachother already and would not play with him. He had an amazing teacher there but even her attempts to help keep him from sitting alone during recess were not successful. He was hesitant in starting a new school. I was so ecstatic when he came back from his first day at HVJA with a HUGE smile telling me about all his new friends!!! The kids here are friendly and VERY accepting of new kids. I have even watched how wonderful they are towards other kids with disabilities. Likewise the parents have been very friendly and encouraging offering help if needed. The teachers here are friendly and are great with the kids. They have art, P.E., music, piano lessons if you want, a library, full gym, before and after care if needed, and daily hot lunch options.
