Last year, a parent visiting the cafeteria with their child, witnessed a teacher yelling and pulling another child's arm who was not paying attention in the cafeteria, and we brought it up to the principal, and since then the parents privilege to be in the cafeteria has been taken away and they did not do anything about that teacher . My kinder also stated they saw mommy and daddy arguing a while ago and a teacher instead of calling me, called DHS and they came to my home to investigate and nothing came out of it but i spoke to the principal. I transferred my kid out.

My children have attended this school since 1st grade and kindergarten respectively. My senior this year is the portrait of a graduate as described and aspired to by the school. My freshman is also thriving. The school focuses on Classical Christian education - grammar, logic and rhetoric. Both my children are well rounded, good friends to their peers, well spoken, and talented students who can engage any adult, think through any challenge and take a position. I appreciate the biblically based education, particularly in light of the world we live in today. They are staffed with excellent instructors, particularly in choir, art, humane letters and rhetoric. We have enjoyed close friendships with other families and while I walked through divorce, the school continued to support our family to the fullest.

While my children also attended St. Cecilia for secondary school, the Middle School experience cemented my satisfaction with the academic education at St. Cecilia. Children are taught the study skills and foundations to thrive academically in high school. The school mirrors the faith based values of our household and it provides the environment to foster self confidence, community and a love of learning.
