Posted by a parent on 1/15/2026All 3 of my kids attended Arco Iris. It was a great experience! They are fully bilingual and were able to start in AP Spanish in high school. I can't say enough about the community and family feel of the school.

From educational to social-emotional support and enrichment to community cultivation..this school was a gem. Sadly, the Beaverton School District mislead the people in stealing Bond money to build a 'Super School' in Raleigh Hills (magical 52 million taken from retrofit and rebuild for schools like Mckay). This is why BSD is lagging on all metrics in educational outcomes..they don't listen and want students to be nothing more than numbers for profit for the Union. This is the last school year for McKay citing dropping enrollment and needing to restructure the resources where they are needed most (BSD). Strange since Greenway is very similar to McKay in both Teacher/Student Ratio as well as total Student Body Size and Demographic...hmmThis does not reflect on McKay or its teachers para educators nor leadership staff whom have made this school and the experience of countless students overr the years the best and I encourage the staff, parents and everyone else involved to VOTE OUT the entirety of the BSD Board and to fight tooth and nail to install local people whom are not SEIU drones.Regards,Jonathan LockwoodParent Review2mo ago - Vose Elementary School

My senior this year is the portrait of a graduate as described and aspired to by the school. My freshman is also thriving. The school focuses on Classical Christian education - grammar, logic and rhetoric. Both my children are well rounded, good friends to their peers, well spoken, and talented students who can engage any adult, think through any challenge and take a position. I appreciate the biblically based education, particularly in light of the world we live in today. They are staffed with excellent instructors, particularly in choir, art, humane letters and rhetoric. We have enjoyed close friendships with other families and while I walked through divorce, the school continued to support our family to the fullest.Parent Review3mo ago
