Here is a quote from my daughter, a student who has attended AHP for 3 years: "This the best school ever and I love going here and I make a lot of friends." We've had a great experience at AHP despite the low score. As a former public school counselor, you can't pay too much attention to these scores really, at least not the low ones.

My child is in the 4/5 ISC room, special education. It’s such a disappointment. The teacher hired for this room has not taught full time in 8 years and it shows. She is very difficult to work with (assuming imposter syndrome going on here) and uses a very hard-core behavior based curriculum. She took my child’s comfort object ( a little toy) and made them “work for it” to get it back. My child has become sad to go to school when they used to love it. She’s not open to feedback and actively works against our family Extremely sad after 2 great years in the 2/3rd grade room. She’s straight up unfriendly, unprofessional, under qualified, and uncooperative.

My child said they had awesome memories from Chehalem. Teachers are kind, cooperative and organized. Students are generally kind, bullies won’t bother you if you mind your business, but they will make fun of you. Average amount of kids in each classroom but kids can interrupt or be distracted easily. The food is honestly good. Very fun events, field trips, and experiences. 10/10 would recommended

This is our family's first year at Life. We came from a different private Christian school in the metro area and were looking for something a bit smaller and for teachers who truly were passionate about what they do and who care about the kids. LCS has been all of that and more. Our kids love coming to school (we have an elementary and a junior high student) and the projects they do are teaching them real life skills. I love seeing the joy teachers have and each student is truly known. They have a new set of curriculum this year for language arts and math in the elementary that has been great for my little one.

Extremely disappointed with the administration at Faith Bible Christian School. Despite claiming to uphold Christian values, they failed to follow their own handbook policies around discipline, student support, and safety. We witnessed racial discrimination, unfair targeting, and inconsistent disciplinary actions—students of color were treated more harshly than their peers. Even more disturbing, multiple reports of sexual harassment by parents and students were ignored or dismissed. Families who raised concerns faced retaliation instead of support. This is not a safe, equitable, or accountable environment. Until leadership takes responsibility and prioritizes student well-being, they will continue to fail the community they claim to serve.
