Pilot Rock Christian School

I am very unhappy with the leadership/admin: The principal of this school is a bully to parents. I am not happy at all with most aspects of this school. If you child is a low level learner then they will get one on one support otherwise they don't care and won't listen to any type of working together with families. The idea that belonging is ASD's motto is not what is true, on the ground and in reality. It is because no one holds the admin accountable and they can act and do whatever they want. I do not see anyone putting the child first. Very frustrating!

We moved from Austin TX primarily for a better special needs environment for our child. There might not be huge football and baseball stadiums like Texas, but the overall education and quality of teachers has been well worth the move.

My kids had the best year in their education at Walker Elementary in Ashland, Oregon, last year. We had one in 1st grade and the other in 4th grade. They both skyrocketed academically and socially. This school is where things really came together for them, and they were provided with a positive environment where they both thrived. Our family loves the school. It is a welcoming and fun environment where we feel safe and included, and heard. There are many opportunities here for children to get ahead with the love of learning in a non-shaming and enthusiastic environment. Thank you to the incredible staff for what you have given us. I only wish we had found you sooner!Looking forward to another fantastic year at Walker Elementary.

My children and I will be in therapy for many years to come based on our experience at the Siskiyou School. Most of the teachers are unlicensed, unprofessional, and unethical. The aloof administration caters to the illusion that they are superior to the general public. If you do not succumb to the dogma, they will turn their back on you. Although Waldorf education has many excellent tenets, the Siskiyou School has a growing reputation across the Rogue Valley for being on the decline. Please be sure to go ahead with caution; some of the other poor reviews are spot on. There are many silent traumatized families based on the elitist shaming approach. Many graduates of the Siskiyou School struggle to adjust to reality after they leave.
