Burroughs Elementary School

Pipeline to prison poster child. These are elementary aged children. This school treats children like prisoners and is militant. As a parent I regret sending my child here.

School is great teachers are sweet as well as the ladies in the office. Would like to see more events for the students at the school. Would also like to see an award assembly where the students get good citizen awards and perfect attendance. If this could happen this would be a great school for the community.

This school has fully went downhill the last 2 years in my opinion there not enough teachers and 25 to 30 kids in each classroom I'm truly sad to see it like this there is so many problems within the school itself

They really have upgraded not only looks but as a school in general

There is a strong sense of community. They have community nights every month where they teach parents more about the Montessori method, provide food and games and a chance for parents to connect. The principal is always at everything and easy to reach. A lot of the teachers, especially lower and early elementary are very involved as well. The principal is committted to hiring a diverse staff and I am so impressed with the teachers she has recruited to joint the team.

This is a small school and they feel like family. I am very proud that my children are attending this school.
