I went to Allen Bowden from PK to 8th grade. From PK to 4th grade or so, it was a great school. If I didn't understand something, they'd teach me different ways of doing something. The kids assigned teachers were great. The principal is terrible. Kids a punished based off of tattling that was false. Unfortunately, my kid didn't defend himself and I believed what the adult was telling me. The principal sent us a notice kicking our son out 15 days before school started. It was actually a blessing because he is now going to Eagle Point Christian Academy and flourishing. The things he got in "trouble" for at Freedom had never been an issue at Eagle Point and the teacher was confused as to why he had the "issues" at Freedom. My sons experience at Freedom was very toxic. Public Schools say they have no tolerance for bullying, but I think they need to look more into verbal bullying. My son was verbally bullied by several kids. Unfortunately he didn't speak up about it until he was out of that school.
