Unfortunately our experience was that if a child is ahead or considered gifted they are mostly forgotten about. The school seems to solely focus on bringing all students to grade level. Every teacher and staff member truly loves the students and makes us feel more like family. Mrs. Million-Goldstein is kind and encouraging, but also holds high expectations for students and staff. Northeast implements a therapy dog program to support struggling students and incentivize good behavior. Northeast is a Great Expectations model school and places high value on a well rounded, quality education for every student. We couldn’t ask for a better school for our kids.
