Clegern Elementary School

Ida Freeman Elementary is a wonderful school with a welcoming atmosphere, dedicated teachers, and strong leadership. They truly care about every student’s growth and success. We’ve had a great experience and are grateful to be part of such a supportive community!

We love Northern Hills Elementary. My kids have learned so much, and they love being engaged in school plays and projects. The teachers are very dedicated and respectful.

We love Orvis so much! We have had nothing but great experiences with the teachers and staff. Our kids love going here and I am really glad we transferred to this district!

This school ignored me asking for help when my son was in second grade and third grade and he was beat up by 3 boys each time. The school is filthy and the bathrooms are atrocious. I worked as a substitute for the school and was fired when I called the police regarding my son being jumped by the boys mentioned, and the principal (Wartley) lied and told them I wasn’t complying and wouldn’t bring my son to school for them to investigate. I wasn’t going to bring my son to be put back into the class room with the same boys that Jumped him but I DID bring him to speak with the principal and assistant but they wouldn’t speak to me and had the office girls tell me she was in a meeting. The school is failing for a reason. I’ve asked for a transfer (but wasn’t given one) to get my son out even with “school choice” as an option. They don’t supply tutoring or continual monitoring so the kids aren’t learning and are failing state testing scores. This school needs a huge revamping. The majority of the kids are from very low income families and given no regard for their education or their futures. As someone who worked at the school to see what was going and had been a parent of a child here for 4 yrs, I can tell you the score they receive is very well deserved.

This school is great! It feels like a small town school with community involvement and my child loves going here!

Overall this school is great. The vast majority of the teachers are exceptional and invested in the children's education. Wonderful speech therapy team with Mrs. Baker. It is one of the smaller schools in the district and it feels cozy and personable. It feels like there is not a single administrator in the school that doesn't know my 3 children by name.
