Willoughby Middle School

Lack of communication with parents from teachers makes this a bad school. They don’t even have air conditioning. If parents want to be included in the learning process, they’re deliberately excluded.

I’m an alumni from the class of 2026. I’ve gone to this school from the past 6 years and gotten to love it. The teachers are by far the best part of this place, they make it incredibly welcoming and open for any and everyone. The college classes are taught by incredibly smart and talented teachers who encourage their students to grow. While I would recommend this school to everyone, the biggest problem has to do with the current head of school. Unfortunately, the headmaster tends to prefer certain groups of students over others and allows them to get away with more. This headmaster also is unnecessarily strict, and implements changes that negatively impact the school with the sole purpose of claiming credit over a change.

I sent both of my boys to PreK and Kindergarten at Willo-Hill and they loved it. The teachers and staff are excellent. They are truly committed to the kids and their learning. My kindergartener was reading within a few months! The atmosphere is very friendly and loving with a lot of school events and functions. I think what makes this school successful is that the parents are all involved and very helpful. I am sending them again this year and we are all excited for the new year ahead!

I went to this school last year, they aren’t friendly or anything, teachers, principles, assistant principles and the staff are horribleThey will write you up and lie about things you never do, i was getting targeted as soon as i got into Junior high, the teachers are also racist Blaming everything on me and not anyone else, If i were you i will never send your kids here, MATER DEI IS HORRIBLE
