Howland Middle School

This school does not support neruodivergent students. Made my son feel like an outcast and instead of helping him and encouraging him they would just send him home everyday. My son, who was in 1st grade at the time, would state anytime he went to school it made him feel like he didn't want to be alive anymore... A FIRST GRADER! The school kept denying me an IEP meeting until I decided to unenroll my son, then they suddenly wanted to try and get an IEP. The principal seemed to be unphased when I informed him his school and his methods made a 7 year old not want to be alive anymore. Switching school districts was the best thing I could have done for my son. He just finished 2nd grade in a school who loves him supports him and encourages him. I would not recommend this school to anyone with neruodivergent children.

my ab_sive mother still works for WCS. HR refuse to do anything filed 3x. My pred father also worked for WCS as maintenance for decades classic 330. She's a kindergarten teachers aide since early 2000s. Works at a daycare too. Good luck shes mean to the "special" ones

My family moved to this district and particularly this schools area as we wanted our children to go to school here. This school has a wide variety of ethnic and socio-economic groups that feed into it (for this area). I helps to give a child a balanced and realistic view of life. Additionally. The teachers and staff I have dealt with have ALL been wonderful, accommodating, professional, and dedicated. I have had a niece, nephew, and now my own child attend this school. This community and this school is not only able to address our educational needs but, has a tremendous sense of pride and community. Now, this is not a perfect world and Lincoln is not a perfect school. However, as a college grad who values my children's educational future. They will all go to Lincoln!!!! GO RAIDERS!!

some teachers are a joke! they know who they are! giving a child a yellow just because 5 minutes later they had to go to the bathroom!

I thank God for Holy Trinity! I love how the teachers reinforce what I teach my children at home compassion, honesty, patience, trustworthiness, and all that comes with being Christ-like. The one-on-one attention my children receive is priceless and is quite apparent when they bring home their test scores or projects! If you want your child to have a strong foundation you should enroll your child at Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Academy and Preschool. You will wish that you heard about this kind of education (gift)sooner! Thank you HTOCA.
