Read what parents are saying about Greenwood Elementary SchoolThe low score of 4/10 is very misleading. My now adult children attended Greenwood and then my granddaughters. Mr Colon and the teachers are definitely top in their class. They all care about every single student. If a student needs extra attention in a certain area then the staff makes sure they get it. They see the potential in every student and works with them to reach goals that are set. We moved states and my biggest concern is that my grandchildren won’t attend a school even half as good as Greenwood or have teachers as caring and experienced. #GO KNIGHTS

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey push parents out here. Don't expect to be included or listened to. And they create ridiculous rules. Kids are not allowed to play tag! Instead of punishing those not using safe hands they punish everyone. I made comments about concerns with staff and was pushed to the side and ignored.Parent Review1y ago - Rosa Parks Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe bulling is really bad and if the staffing doesn't see it or hear it, they don't do anything about it. The boys talk sexual to girls. There's gang signs thrown up on school property and in the school itself. I could go on and on. The school staff needs to be switched out or just close this school down altogether.Parent Review2y ago - State Line Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school K5-Senior and graduated here.I went to SLCS as well as the church, LABC.It is a very legalistic school. Here is just a few of their rules:You are required to bring and read 1 Bible (KJV).You are required to have the principal as a friend on your social media accounts. Students are not allowed to go to movie theaters. Women can never wear pants and have to wear long skirts below the knee. Women have to have an extremely high neckline. Every morning the women have to walk in a circle around a teacher who eyes and tells them if their clothes are not modest enough and need to go home and change. If you sing in choir you can not “slide” when you sing and have strict singing guidelines. Why do they have all these rules? To help with education? No, they have strict legalistic rules be due if you don’t abide by these rules then you are extremely “worldly” and at State Line you are a Christian and need to be not like the “world”.Their rules are not scriptural is the issue. They are just rules they make up. I think they are attempting to produce legalistic drones but the issue is as soon as students graduate they typically go off the deep end because they think being a Christian means following all these rules. They don’t teach you what it truly means to be a Christian.I wish the school offered a counselor for students and parents. They don’t prepare you for college in the fact that they don’t help students try to receive grants, or apply for scholarships. They don’t reach out to students to help with college resources. You are all on your own in that regard. The pastor/leader of school loves sports. You can tell because students who play sports are looked as the most important people in the school. They can miss classes for games, practices, etc.I wish there would be more emphasis on things other than sports like art, photography, band, choir, etc.I believe they need more after school programs other than sports.Overall, I’d say this school needs a lot of change if they really want to reach students and truly prepare them outside of school.Student Review7mo ago - St. Clement Catholic School
