Our family feels welcome and my kids enjoy school here. The staff takes the time to help children who are struggling. The kindergarten teacher Mrs.Golden is wonderful! Great school.

My experience at this school was terrible. The behavior and attitude of kids at this school is no different, if not worse, than public school kids. Bullying, harassment, MULTIPLE incidents of sexual harassment, and discrimination were common issues here and the staff didn't take much action to stop these issues. And some of the teachers are awful; poor communication, teaching, and attitude towards the kids. I feel like most people of color were targeted by staff and looked down upon because of stereotypes imposed on POC. The staff here does not care about students' well being or mental health, they preach the bible and correct the kids "mistakes" instead of giving emotional support and encouragement. They use the bible to sugarcoat everything. Overall, this school is toxic, discouraging, underfunded, sexist, lazy, and just a bad school. I see why the number of students decreased each year.

Toledo Islamic Academy provides a strong, well-rounded education where academics are both challenging and competitive. The teachers are dedicated, supportive, and genuinely care about each student’s growth—academically, socially, and spiritually. What truly stands out is the sense of unity within the school; it feels like a close-knit village that partners with families to nurture and guide children. Islamic values are not only taught but also consistently modeled by the staff, creating an environment rooted in respect, integrity, and faith. I’m grateful to have found a school community that helps my children thrive in every aspect.

I'm a student and from what I see teachers are fun to see for help and there is always something to do. This is my 7th year here and I can not be happier the friends I make are amazing and teachers are willing to help when ever.
