Read what parents are saying about Greenview Upper Elementary SchoolI have lived in the South Euclid Lyndhurst school district for a few years bow and their support for my child has been subpar and inadequate. From my experience if your child is a member of the special education community you do not matter and are not invluded in what they consider to be an inclusive environment. Children who are placed in the special education program are only alike in the manner that they all need a little extra care, love, and concern in order to achieve what is suppose to be their fundamental right to an education. For three years now, my child has not received that. There has been one excuse after the other i.e. btw for your child to get the basic education we are required to give we need you to jump through all these hoops despite his condition to be told we dont have a teacher for "YOUR" child. Every year they have conjured up some fabrication as to why they cant provide a teacher, and this was coexisting prior to the pandemic. They fail to provide any quality answers that result in anything besides I dont know what to say. Every level of supervision seems to be passive aggressive in their attempt to resolve these issues. They even moved all their special education students from the junior high down to the elementary school, even though the Jr high continues to make contact because my student is supposed to be in jr high. When I tried to call the jr high for info on the upcoming school year the assistant referred to the special education students as "them and they", sounds pretty discriminatory to me. If you are a special education student in this community get a lawyer or find another resource because no one and I do mean no one down from the superintendent to the asst special education director will be of assistance; unless they are discriminating for more than just educational needs.
Posted by a parent on 9/13/2022The school needs to get the bullying situation under control, I'm about to pull my 6th grader out of the district because the terrible things he hears on a daily basis are starting to affect his mental health. He is miserable there and no one is doing anything to help him. I will say, the teachers are wonderful, I think the issues come from the administration and the school policies.
Posted by a parent on 8/24/2022The most disorganized disfunctional school in South Euclid!!!! My kid’s came from Adrian and everyday I wish I can send them back! I agree about the previous comment with the principal! Nothing is done about bullying! My child had an incident with a student sending threats and using profanity... absolutely NO feed back at all! The 4th grade office is TERRIBLE!!! No matter how many times you call no one answers! And no matter how many voicemails you leave... NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK!!! I hate it here! I can’t wait to move out of the district!
Posted by a parent on 1/12/2021Awful!!! Beyond horrific!! The principle is absolutely worthless when it comes to problems and bullying in that school. My son was harassed daily and they did NOTHING about it!!
Posted by a parent on 12/20/2019My son is in the 5th grade here, and we absolutely love it! He is in the National Elementary Honor Society and the Honors Program, so I feel the curriculum is as challenging as it should be. We have been really impressed with the leadership at this school. This school is a good representation of how the real world is. I also feel like they do a really good job of tackling social issues, such as bullying.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can’t say enough of how wonderful Gearity elementary school is. The teachers are on top of things, caring about their students, they go above and beyond to not only help the students but they also help the families, specially providing help during times of crisis and with communication. I saw the review about the testing, however, if you look at the student population, they have a lot of non English speaking students and children with disabilities which they offer a lot of support to, those children are tested by the state, when they don’t speak the language! So that has to lower the school testing scores, even though the children are learning really fast and the teachers are spending a lot of time with them and their needs. Doesn’t seem fair that a school is judged for scores they have no way of changing.Parent Review3y ago - Noble Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI give the school 5 stars. They do their job. It's evident where the problem is when you take your student to kindergarten and only 2 out of 24 of her classmates have their school supplies (which cost about $30 all together). How do you send your kid to school without the supplies. You have 5 years to prepare for kindergarten.Parent Review4y ago - Hawken Lower-Middle School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would have given this school a half star but that wasn't an option. St. John Lutheran school is the worse school my child has ever attended. There is no leadership, no direction, no guidance, and no parent support. The students are constantly playing to much and bullying one another. Christ doesn't appear to be present other than on the posters or other materials hanging on the walls. The majority of people there, don't exhibit Christ. Some of the teachers are very unprofessional and clueless as to how to relate to students and their parents. Parents are allowed to confront children (not their children) if there is an issue between their child and another child. This particular experience has been the worse. The aftercare staff is great.Parent Review8y ago - Sacred Heart Of Jesus Academy
