I am so impressed with the care, concern, emotional growth, and support this school offers my son. My 3 year old LOVES this school and only wish that they opened their doors for elementary again! Couldn't speak higher of the staff!

I had one daughter attend the kindergarten wrap program last year and she had a great experience and was very well prepared for first grade because if the extra half day she had at St. Thomas. This year I have a child in the all day 4 year

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExtremely disappointed in our experience with Horace Mann. The teachers are disinterested in the students, but the support staff seem to care. My child has regressed in learning since starting school here, and we moved from a different school zone in Lakewood. Night and day difference between HM and the other elementary school we were at, which was by far much better. In my impression, instead of helping to support us as a family, in 2019, they pushed us out the door in an exceptionally unkind way.Schools must uplift the family to meet the needs of the children. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is one of the worst schools out there. Is no wonder they went from K-8 to K-5. Very discriminatory, very false, rude staff. They claim to be so religious but they don’t act on those principles at all. They have staff, family of staff write good reviews for their benefit. We have had the worst experience at this school and took out my son immediately. They are uncaring and extremely rude and clique. Whatever you do, do not send your child here. It might start off okay but they show their true colors very early on. If they don’t like you that’s it. They make everything extremely uncomfortable. Highly do not recommend.
