Posted by a student on 11/4/2019This school just needs a lot of help. All Cleveland schools in general. I would not recommend your children to go to this or any school near by. There’s hall monitors in this school, they are always picky on where you are going when you are just getting to class. They make you sign into a bathroom which wastes too much time. Let me get in and get out. High school shouldn’t make me feel like I’m a prisoner signing into restrooms and getting yelled at for going to class if I’m a little late. And why can’t upper classmen leave for lunch, I’ve always seen 11-12 graders leave for lunch at many other schools but this is the only district that doesn’t, very weird. Many teachers are lenient about being a little late because the halls are small and so many people goofing around. Also the way the grades run in this district is odd, why is 8th grade in a high school. A lot needs to be changed to make rating go up.
Posted by a student on 4/24/2018I started in the Parma City School District as an IEP at Arlington Pre-School. I graduated from Valley Forge with an Honors Diploma, 4.0 GPA, and going to be a first-generation college grad. If it was not for the amazing education I got at Valley Forge, I would not have accomplished all this!
Posted by a student on 4/23/2018Valley Forge High School in Parma, OH is terrible at solving issues especially with BULLYING. From an experience with teachers and administration, it's feels like no authority wants to be bothered or cares about the child being bullied. Shame that these are educators.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei personally have been (still am) going to this school for around 9 years now. i started my school life here in PRE-K 4s. before i begin, i would say that i recommend this school. the education is great and a lot better than most public schools and such. if i have children, more than likely i will send them here. but of course, it is indeed very pricy and has gotten more expensive over the years. they do provide financial help with things like that, but anyway. the strengths i’d say are: (in my opinion) the school has a very good and welcoming atmosphere/environment. the sanctuary or the church is absolutely gorgeous. as i stated before, the education is fantastic. the food is good and better than again most schools. however, like anything there are cons. with my personal experience, the things i’ve heard and seen, and other information from fellow classmates i can say that it is sexist. there is lots and lots of discrimination among students. slurs are thrown around like no tomorrow. those include the n-word from primarily white students, the f-slur, and more. mainly racism though. and another thing to add is they have ALL grades (i believe not including pre-k — 1st grade) do chapel. i just personally think that unless that kid actually understands what they’re saying, they shouldn’t be exposed to the idea of religion that early on. but that’s just a personal thought. the staff is mostly kind, accepting, and helpful. one last thing is that i feel as though the church has grown to only care for money.Student Review1y ago - Bethel Christian Academy
