The school offers a wide variety of extracurriculars to enhance and enrich the kids' experience. I can't say enough good about the whole district, and Shore is no exception!

Posted by a community member on 8/23/2024I totally don’t feel welcome here. My kids get bullied every single day and the teachers don’t care and there are fights here a lot. If you are looking for a school to put your child in DO NOT PICK THIS ONE. Go to Memorial my kids are happy there now.

The principal was very present in all the activities as well. There were lots of extracurricular activities that my children could do. I can't say enough about the PTA either. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEveryone at this school is so welcoming and friendly. The children are greeted by name every morning by smiling faculty and staff. My son’s kindergarten teacher is phenomenal...my son has learned so much in a short period of time and she is genuinely kind and supportive. My son absolutely loves her and can’t imagine having another teacher. We transferred to Morton after a bad experience in a parochial school at the end of the 1st quarter and I was very touched when the principal called me after his first week to touch base and ask me how things were going and ask if I had any concerns.
