Highland High School

I went to Highland from kindergarten to my senior year, and I would say that my biggest criticism are the students rather than the staff. I am a first generation American, from two African parents, and from the time I was 5 years old, the students never let me forget that I wasn’t one of them. While

We have 2 kids at HHS and love it. It should be a 10/10. The excellent teachers, great coaches, the best band director who supports the kids simultaneously participating in sports…we couldn’t be happier.

Highland is a wonderful school district! It is just the right size where you get to know other families and it is a very friendly and giving community. They actually care about each other unlike some large districts where students get lost in the crowd.

In my book it is over rated. They do not care about bullying and try to shut you up. They graduate kids w disabilities even though they did not go to school the last 6 months of school. The teachers are not qualified and all the good teachers they make them retire.

Highland is a great school in a small community. The academic scores are consistently high. The quality of education is very good. Highland offers opportunities for a child to grow and learn how to be a good citizen, how to compete ethically, and how to move forward to fulfill their dreams. The teac
