Ella Canavan Elementary School

I went to this school for four years as a student. The elementary is the best part about the school, the teachers, the learning, the events are all amazing. After becoming a middle schooler in the middle school building, I must say, there was a change. I went from experiencing kind hearted teachers that care about their students in the elementary school to be treated poorly by staff in the middle school. New students got picked on, the diversity is not present, rude students, rude staff. small campus, NO school drills. One will experience one tornado drill, about 4 fire drills, and no school intruder drills a year at this school. The cost is not worth it for your student to have a lacking school environment and to be held back academically, and spiritually.

Horrible experience lack of professionalism by the school principal thinking she can knock on your car door whenever she wants to talk to you but when you tried to set up meetings in the past it’s convenient to the principal but she can inconvenience you by knocking on your car door when trying to pick your kid up from school also my son stated after when this happened the same day she stalked him at recess waiting for him at the end of slides and stuff and after recess kept pulling him aside out of class trying to get him to change his story to cover up what they did wrong strongly do not recommend until a better professional can step up .
