Posted by a community member on 6/16/2021My daughter has excelled at Amherst Elementary. She's made so many friends and had a lot of support from teachers. We've had no issues with bullying. Their reading programs helped her a lot!

Never had any problems with bullying. Teachers are very accommodating to parents and will communicate with you daily if necessary through email or phon

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo your research on this school. The new principal Mrs Williams is extremely disrespectful and rude and doesn’t treat children/familes equally. She allows students to get hurt and doesn’t communicate appropriately with parents. Staff are disrespectful to students, there’s alot of bullying & racism also. Administration sits on their phones all day but don’t handle serious situations correctly. I’d look into other schools because this school has went down hill.
