Posted by a parent on 8/22/2022I hate to give negative reviews but honestly this school seems toxic. Starting with the Principal, the “secretary” if/when she decides to open the door after she asks you to reposition your Driver’s License 3 different times so she can see it. Then this same lady asks me over the intercoms if I have my cell phone with me knowing I am empty handed. I reply over the intercom that I don’t she then tells me I can’t check my daughter out early without my cell phone. When I walked away she decided I can use “her” a.ka. School’s iPad to check my daughter out . Keep in mind I had followed the protocol the morning of for my daughter to leave early for a doc appt. Besides this, my daughter often comes home like a scolded dog saying how the teachers constantly tell her class that they are the worst class they have ever had. I mean this is every other day. Negative reinforcement at its finest. Way to build moral. It’s obvious these teachers are beaten down by the direct leadership and it’s a domino effect. Depressing atmosphere to say the least. I want more for my children .
Posted by a parent on 3/8/2022It is much too big, which leaves kids with little opportunities. The diversity is great, though, as are academics. I would recommend a smaller school for kids with special needs, though.
Posted by a community member on 10/20/2018My son was struggling at his previous school in Washington state. In the four months that he has been here his grades are improving as is his work ethic and his desire to succeed is unlike anything we've ever seen from him. All of his teachers are very interactive and proactive to give him the individual attention he needs, as he is mildly A.D.D. Super happy he is here!!
Posted by a parent on 11/16/2017Mason intermediate campus is overwhelming crowded and Student fees/expenses are very high. Communication between parents and teachers is low and there are no programs to support learning differences.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent place to work! The staff is well supported. We start the day with prayer together in the chapel, participate in staff retreats, attend Mass and support each other. The staff prays for our students, families, and benefactors on a daily basis. The students and staff are genuine and everyone looks forward to being together in this close knit community.Principal Review3y ago - Liberty Bible Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a wonderful school! The teachers really KNOW each individual child, where they are socially, and where they are academically. The teachers are kind, but not enabling. Both my children have learned so much academically, but even more importantly respect and compassion, right and wrong. I realize a lot of people think Montessori schools have no order, but that’s definitely not true at MAC. On the contrary, they emphasize order, letting the kids lead but set boundaries. Academically l, my children are more advanced than all their friends in the public school setting. More importantly to me, they have acquired problem solving skills, and ability to embrace failure/mistakes to make themselves better each day. Can’t say enough good things about MAC!Parent Review4y ago - Mars Hill Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe more I talk to friends who have kids in all kinds of schools—public, private, Christian, hybrid—the more I grow in my appreciation for Mars Hill. The school was founded on a commitment to glorifying God in all aspects of life, and that continues to permeate every class and every activity. The school is committed to truth, to thinking clearly, to reasoning soundly, and to cultivating a lifelong love of learning about the world God made. We can't say enough about the teachers in particular. They take genuine pleasure in their subject matter; they demonstrate sincere devotion to God; and they love and enjoy our children. Each teacher our kids have had has helped us grow in our understanding of our children's character, both in areas of gifting and in areas that need growth and correction. The standards for discipline are high (one of our own children has been deservedly suspended), but this helps create an atmosphere of respectful joy that I have not seen in any other school.Parent Review1y ago - Montessori Academy of Cincinnati
