Read what parents are saying about St Columban Elementary SchoolThis is a school in a nice area and would have lots of potential. But, MANY updates need to be made to the buildings, grounds, classrooms and on. The church is Superb! Father Larry and staff are AMAZING. The school itself needs a FULLY new vision, some new staff and a new leader. While I appreciate history and long time staff, it doesn't seem to be working here anymore. Communication needs ramped up BIGTIME.
Posted by a parent on 8/17/2020We have been very happy during our years at St. Columban. The focus on Faith Family Future are clear. We know our children are developing their faith in a loving family-focused environment with strong academics. The foundation built at St. Columban has given our oldest the tools he needs for successful high school years. I anticipate the same for my current students after graduation from StC. We are thankful for our experience here.
Posted by a parent on 11/25/2019Spoken from a minority student that went here for 8 full years, the social aspect was extremely difficult in so many ways that I cannot easily describe. I didn’t know what racism was until at age 6 was when I had to experience it, which followed several years in isolated incidences. But please if you think your child cannot handle being a racial minority, I would refer to send your child to loveland public school instead. Even if your child is not a minority, I truly advise you if you still wish to send your child here; from the bottom of my heart, please expose your children to some sort of diversity or educate them on the world at home at the very least. Kids, especially younger kids, stared at me because I’m pretty sure I was the first person of color they’ve ever seen in person. Normalizing diversity at that age instead of avoiding it can immensely enhance your young child of being a well-rounded, well-respected individual in their future. Sincerely, A bobcat grad

But I just felt like it’s easier to not send your kids here if they do not align with the political and racial majority. Other than that, great school to raise a new family.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs the parent of a little person with hearing loss, I can unequivocally say this school is a treasure and a blessing for all families with children with hearing loss. If you are looking at this review right now because you have found out that your child is deaf and you do not know what to do, call Ohio Valley Voices right now. The earlier, the better for your little person. You will know you made the right decision the minute you walk through the door. It has helped our son and our family worked through uncertainty and pain.Parent Review1y ago - Childrens Meeting House

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at CMH for several years, with both of my children starting in PrePrimary. We could not have found a better fit and are absolutely thrilled with the Montessori education they are receiving. The trained Montessori teachers are so knowledgeable and offer wonderful encouragement to the children to take ownership & responsibility of their learning, both academically and social/emotional learning. Both of my children have excelled far beyond what I thought was possible at their ages, and they love to share their knowledge. The teachers give wonderful feedback and communicate openly and effectively. The community we have joined while attending CMH has been nothing short of inclusive and amazing. Highly recommend to consider CMH!Parent Review5mo ago
