Winton Woods Middle School

I have had multiple bad experience with the school. My two sons were going here when my youngest son had a form of ADHD. I put him on medication so the school could control him but even when he took his medication, the school acted like they couldn’t control him, so I stopped giving him his medication‘s and when I told the school, I stopped giving him his medication’s. I’ve lost three different jobs because the school would call me every day. Every other hour telling me my son needed to be picked up because this this or that the school did not want to properly assist with my son because he was “bad” is what a teacher texted me on class dojo. My son is intelligently very smart well mannered and behaved. I believe the school was just picking on my child because he was very smart. Everything they were telling me about my son. I’ve never seen outside of the school. My sons started a new school the end of last year. I have had no problems whatsoever. My children have been going to school and coming home with great behaviors. No call from no messages from our teachers. The school was definitely bullying my child because of his “ADHD” also this school was allowing my friend who wasn’t on their pick up list to pick my children up without checking for ID this didn’t happen one time but four different times before I called. I made a complaint. This school is racist

-my child went to recess only three times and it’s almost the end of the year. - my child has told me that she feels scared at school. Not because of the other children but because of the grumpy staff. - my child said the vice principal always talks nasty to the kids and he is rude- The building is starting to look dilapidated-the front office lady is EXTREMELY unprofessional and will not let you get a word in no matter what the tone of the conversation is, pleasant or not

Had an amazing time with my toddler there. The teachers were so amazing at helping with strategies to get through milestones in eating, toileting, naps, and so much more. The teachers are also very well supported by a great staff, which I can't say enough about. This is a really good school.

I dont believe this school cares about a childs needs. Read the reviews on Google. They lack a caring, supportive, and a nurturing environment. Children should feel loved, safe, and wanted. They will tell you they will work with your child if they need additional help, that is not true. There was no plan to help my child succeed. Their solution was to take the easy way out, and get him out of their program because he needed more attention. Teacher-The role of a teacher is to inspire, motivate, encourage and educate learners. Techers can have a lasting effect on our children good or bad. It is truly sad that there are individuals who lack these skills working in an educational environment.

Fantastic school! Christian values are highly emphasized, and my kids have really grown over the years to be more responsible and loving than I think they would have in public school. The academic program and grading scale is very challenging, but it sets the kids up for success in high school. They work with students who have IEPs, and contract with Hamilton County Educational Services Center for specialists in things like speech therapy. They have an awesome STEM program, and there are lots of extracurriculars to choose from - sports, music, drama... And, they compete against several other schools in the area in sports, public speaking, and academics. The teachers come out to visit every student's home over the summer to get to know them better and talk about what to expect in the upcoming year. Everyone there makes you feel like you are a part of one big family. We couldn't be happier there!
