Read what parents are saying about St. Francis DeSales SchoolMy son has attended De Sales since 2nd grade and his IQ is way above average. The teachers here know how to push the kids to the best of their ability. I love the small classes and one on one they give to the kids. I feel as if they really care for the children. Three of my nephews attended this school as well I would recommend this school, to any parent that want what's best for their child!!! And they do not exclude Christ at this school my sons well being mentally, physically, and spiritually is well taken care of I have no worries here!
Posted by a parent on 7/20/2013This used to be a really great school. Now the some of the students and parents are not made to be responsible for the children's actions. Poor parent participation. Some teachers are not made to use Edline or update the homework website. There are certain kids that cause problems repeatedly and are permitted to return year after year. Majority of the teachers are great, the office staff is wonderful, and loving. I will no longer PAY to send my child to this school.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been there since kindergarten and the school began going down hill in the third grade. The third grade team is horrible! They are rude and they do not care about the students education! One teacher says one thing and to cover her tail, she will lie and the principal backs them on everything they do right or wrong! The fourth grade math teacher doesn't communicate. I am a very active and open parent. I will reprimand my daughter for her actions, behavior or attitude if it's brought to my attention. The only way a demerit should be given to student is after meeting with the parent isn't helping but if you are not communicating with the parent to ensure that we can fix the problem then it will continue. Keep the parents engaged, how can you fix a problem when you don't know that their is one? Communication in this school sucks!Parent Review8y ago - Montessori Center Room

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMCR is a most incredible place. As an alumni from 30 years ago myself, I feel blessed to be able to send my 2 children to the same school (in the same space no less! and not much has changed, in a beautiful timeless way!). The staff is well-trained in Maria Montessori's principles, and the children benefit greatly from this. I used to think that it was expensive when I had to scrounge up the hard-earned money to pay the bills, but now I realize what an incredible bargain it is! my money has been well spent sending my children to a wonderful school, with a caring and attentive staff and community, where they have learned and continue to grow into the amazing individuals that they are meant to be. I give much credit to MCR for assisting in their early childhood development, and would highly recommend this school to any parent interested in sending their child to a safe, warm, nurturing, and mind-expanding school during their formative years.Parent Review13y ago - Cornerstone Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wish i didn’t have to leave them one star. The school’s leadership is some of the worst I have ever seen. They are most unprofessional and run the school based on their emotions and desires not the families or students. If you happen to be a divorced parent, WATCH OUT, they will take sides and literally try ruining your life! I would never send another child here!Parent Review1y ago - The Summit Country Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience has been excellent. Starting with the Admission process. They are helpful, understanding and welcoming. The teachers want the students to learn and do well and keep the parents part of the process.Parent Review4y ago - Mercy Montessori
