Posted by a parent on 1/30/2025While parents are encouraged to be involved with their children's learning there's little engagement. The school is understaffed. The admin team is not supportive of teachers. Students are unruly, disrespectful, disengaged, aggressive, and rude.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Carson from 2005-2008, (4th-7th grade) and I can tell you that the school had no structure at all. Kids were fighting, running from security all the time and just causing mayhem in the classroom. I remember throwing crayons across the room all day and that was my education. I left after the new building was put up, I spent about 3 months in it, they segregated males/females. Felt like prison. The staff is very nice and honest, they hold parent-teacher conferences almost every other month and you can set your own up whenever. They have a very strong feeling about bullying!
