Daughter in the school one year after in district transfer. Had high hopes after previous school. Sadly teacher was very lacking. Non-communicative with parents. More interested in local sports teams than education of the kids in her room. Incredibly immature as well. Hopefully she finds her way out

I was a member of the the very first 6th grade class to move on to junior high. I was lucky to attend a brand new school. My son also went to school there. The Oak Hills school district is award winning- great for college prep and extra curricular activities. There is a definite sense of belonging.

If you are reading this, DO NOT GO unless you want to have low confidence and self-esteem. The bullying here is horrible, and the teachers there does not do anything about the bullying there. Since our initial contact with the Oak Hills District and her placement in Ms. Amy’s integrated preschool class, which occurred the day after she turned 3 years old, the school staff has been 100% supportive with her educational needs. They are incredibly responsive, building on her strengths while providing the interventions needed to address her challenges.
