Chesapeake Middle School

This school is excellent. They have an amazing principal who truly cares about all the kids and is very engaging and approachable and highly professional. I have a son that goes there and the teachers really care so much and are doing their very best to provide an excellent education. They let my son read books he loves and they offer so many amazing activities for the kids. They do so much extra stuff like field trips and really getting the kids to care not only about their education but each other. They don’t tolerate bullying and really do a wonderful job on social emotional learning. I can’t say enough good things about this school. I am so happy and so thankful for this school.

my 3 daughters and three grandchildren and now i geat granddaughter attends first grade.we are a very poor area and i am so very interested in providing free lunchs for the needy kids. i work in a food bank in the area and know how3 much this is needed. please help.

I love all the teachers and staff I have met. They have the best system for ALL Children. Not only do they make your child love to get up for school. They make education rewarding and fun. They work with each individual child and their needs. This school and everything about it is awesome.

Teachers are great except for the vice principal I find that he was a little to rough for the kids and the substitutes are TERRIBLE made my friend cry. And I find that one of the first grade teachers didn't really help with some if the students reading. Everything is great except for the vice principal and most of the substitutes one of them my daughter absolutely Adored!

Our son has attended this school since kindergarten. The quality of the school has declined in the past three years. The compensation and benefits of its teacher and staff are far below the public school system. Consequently, the best teachers and staff have departed, particularly at the high school level. So, teachers and staff have been reassigned from middle school to high school and replaced by individuals without teaching degrees or just out of college. Some teachers admit they don't know their subjects. Electives are abandoned mid-year. Discipline has been an issue due to the principal's reassignment from middle to high school. Due to the availability of new student vouchers, home-schooled students unprepared are now attending. Now, they've embarked on a doomed effort to establish middle and high school football teams abandoned in the 1940s. Finally, there is considerable discrimination against non-Catholic students whose tuition is higher and who are graded and treated inferior to Catholic students.

I highly recommend Grace Christian School! They do a great job of finding ways to involve parents in their children's education.
