Academy of St. Adalbert

Teacher sent home pages and pages of schoolwork to be done at home. No not homework schoolwork. Rather than helping the student that is struggling the teacher repeatedly reminds the student and parent how far behind they are. The principal who likes to come across as a caring supportive person is quite the opposite. I spoke to her about the teacher and her only response was telling me the teachers qualifications.

Have 2 children who go here. Total of three years in so far. Very pleased all around. They care, they listen. My kids love the school and teachers. One of my kids do have a I.E.P. I feel they truly do care about it. They work very hard with her.

Grindstone Elementary school is one of the best schools that my daughter has been to, the teachers are great and the students are very polite, the school is very organized.

Bullying by teachers and students. Adults favor children and target others. Terrible environment.

Our family loves St. Mary's. The parish and school work closely together. There are many opportunities for stewardship. Academically, teachers challenge students with many hands-on learning (STEM) activities. Power of the Pen, News at 9, CYO sports, after school engineering clubs and much more are offered as extracurriculars. It's a small community but a mighty one.

NOTHING but glowing things about this school, the principal and the cirriculum. We have had our 2 children here since Pre-K, through the pandemic and beyond and the community feel of the school is great. They actually follow rules and make their students be a part of the religious and academic experience. 5 stars- highly recommend.
