The staff at this school is terrible….they gossip about other students, show discrimination against black students…. this school is very DESTABILIZING! Non supportive but highly chaotic. Oh if your child is special needs, don’t bother sending them here. They have no compassion or understanding towards them!

Chapel Hill has lacked over the past few years. There new administration fails to see opportunities for process improvement and adaption; just seems to be the old Chapel Hill way. Teachers are valued compared to administrative support; administrative support is supposed to care for all other staff. There is inappropriate work life balance for staff as expected to do additional duties without providing adequate time off. The board along with the administrator seem to be out of touch with what the school needs; the Board suggested that the current administrator was hired based on race compared to appropriate hiring qualifications. Administrator and principals fought using Ohio public testing because it was a Christian school. Also, administrator refused to include students who did not meet according to Christian guidelines. After observing students and administrative staff, I would not suggest Chapel Hill as the appropriate environment for either parents, students, and/or staff members.

Many of these reviews are misleading considering the negativity. I was a student at this school last year, in eighth grade, and up until now I have been at this school since kindergarten. I really like this school because it really shows children how to grow in their faith and to think for themselves. This school teaches many problem-solving skills and life lessons I would have never learned if I had gone to a different school. Also, I've made many friends that I will have forever. Since there is only one class per grade level, students can become very close friends with their classmates. Honestly, this school isn't perfect, as any other school, but I learned so much, and really discovered more about who I am. For this, I can really thank the teachers and staff. Although everyone's had their moments, we all felt like a family, which made it better in the end. For example, if you were going through something, either hard times or needing help with homework, they would always guide you through it and support you. I can't say much for the parents, because I am not one but, I do recommend this school. I get that it may not be for everyone, but I had so much fun at this school, so I just thought I would write a review.
