Mill Middle School

Smallwood is such a wonderful little school that my children & I are so lucky to be a part of. We started during COVID and the school did their best to keep the fun community spirit. Now we get to start all over again with our youngest entering K and the experience has been top notch. They do so much to include the community and neighborhood in their initiatives, like the Flag Day & Halloween parades through the neighborhood - so cute! Mr. Crozier, the school principal is wonderful and truly takes the time to listen to students and parents. He also tries to implement any suggestions he receives to make the school even better. The teachers and staff I’ve met have all been wonderful and you can tell they love their job and the kids they teach. My older child has stayed in touch with all her past teachers and has been able to thrive in this school. Many parents are involved and show up for events. The school as a whole makes you feel safe, their is a security guard/Police Officer (the data on this site is outdated) and the school has procedures in place as well as good security measures, while still making a welcoming environment.

Country Parkway is an excellent and exceptional school. The PTA puts on so many events for families and students. Classrooms have a manageable student to teacher ratio and are well equipped with new technology. All staff from the Custodians, school nurse, teachers and office are friendly, caring and genuinely want to be a part of the school. We feel so lucky to be apart of CP elementary!

Amazing school! Great teachers. Mr Wing was an awesome principal. Fun field trips. The kids in the area this school is located in can be very mean sometimes though. This school does have bullying.

Fantastic principal and the BEST priests who care deeply about and work first and foremost towards the spiritual formation of our children that attend. School mass homilies present the gospel in an engaging and memorable way. Tuition is higher than most parochial schools but that is reflected in additional resources such as special education staff, student counselors, large campus, wonderful youth ministry team and lots of extracurriculars. Would love to see less Chromebook use and more recess and year-round outside time or movement breaks offered to all student grade levels, even the older grades (It’s worth mentioning I’d say that for most schools in our current culture of high technology use and high focus on standardized test scores). Would also love to see band/instrument offered to all families at a more accessible price point. Lots of opportunity to volunteer, get involved and enjoy family fellowship. In summary, this is a Catholic school for your whole family!

Our second year at CTK with 1st and Kindergarten students, and we are so happy with our decision! It is an investment for our children, but what we get in return is above and beyond our expectation. Academically, our children are excelling and having so much fun learning. The teachers and staff are like a family, they are warm and inviting and you can sense the love they have for teaching our children and their pride for CTK. The students from pre-K through 8th grade are all kind to one another, and you can tell how this is fostered by the amazing team. STREAM curriculum, the amazing music program, and inclusive sports/activities. We could not love our school more!
