A great school starts at the top, and Waterville has smart, professional, friendly, caring and innovative administrators. Those same qualities are evident in the excellent teaching staff, who pass along strong community values of warmth, kindness, generosity and a sense of humor and fun to the students. There's a lot of hometown spirit and pride here. Great marching band, interesting variety of electives, and a stubborn tradition of being the only school to remain open when all other schools call a snow day gives extra days off when the weather turns nice.
