My son Jeremiah has been getting teased not only the beginning of this year but last year too

There are some great teachers in this school, but an ineffective principal is what keeps this school from becoming great. This "leader" makes $150,000+ salary, and drives expensive cars, which shows how out of touch she is when almost half of the students in this building are considered "economically disadvantaged". Additionally, the principal treats certain teachers/staff with disdain and in an unprofessional manner; but will allow those she likes to get away with just about anything... these are not good characteristics of a strong leader. It's disgraceful and something needs to be done, but the district level administration won't do anything because they are just as corrupt. I would advise any family to stay far away from this school and Wappingers in general. They are behind the times, and will continue to be as long as these type of people remain in charge.

In a nutshell, unrelenting arrogance on the part of some teachers and the principle. While they teach Christian values their adherence to same is questionable at best. It's their way or the highway and don't expect much acceptance unless of course you're in the cliche and have your checkbook at hand. If you question anything they do regardless of how dumb it is you might as well get used to being treated as unworthy.School has no air conditioning and if it's an unusually hot day in the fall or spring while winter uniforms are required they do not allow students to remove outer uniform garments. Kids will wear the entire uniform and be expected to suck it up. The staff offices do however have air conditioning.Academically they are ok but no better than most public schools and certainly not for the money you're paying. They rely far, far too heavily on technology to the point basic writing skills are not enforced near the degree they should be. Technology seems to have become a crutch to make life easier for teachers at the detriment of student learning.
