Read what parents are saying about Ps 62 Inocensio CasanovaThe teachers in this school work very hard. They treat the children well. The teachers go above and beyond, I feel.
Posted by a parent on 4/30/2015I am a teacher at PS 62 and I know the school is handled very well. The teachers are a tight knit group that have implemented successful strategies to raise student achievement. We have a low turnover rate and most teachers are happy!
Posted by a teacher on 8/9/2014I live in the area and work with some of the children whom attend P.S. 62. With my experience I feel like this school can use a little work.
Posted by a community member on 9/8/2011With the exception of 1 teacher they have there whom which they are aware is a problem each year with harassing, insulting & bullying students... the school works very well over all.
Posted by a parent on 9/4/2011This school is the worst when it comes to comunicating with the parents, and is also the worst when I call the office and ask to please transfer my call to a teacher or someone else in the school the people in the office are really rude is you are asking them for money or something I hate this school and child is not attending in this school next year.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy youngest son in the 3rd grade I never seen to have any problems with his teacher there amazing and good energy my son comes out happy and excited about school and learning but my oldest son in the 5 grade some of the teachers seem to have attitude and bad vibes, my son comes out sad most the time or miserable, the teachers quick to tell the social workers anything & some of the social workers have bad vibes as well make the parent feel uncomfortable and almost feel like you’re being bullied and picked on by these people there way of communicating with the parents makes you feel threatened just because the child either is tired or simply doesn’t want to do the work. My son tells me there mean and that he try’s and he’s also disabled but to them it’s not enough & quick to tell the parents it’s neglect even when you do you’re part as a concerned parent & request evaluation & more programs to help the child but they will still stick together & make you feel like you’re not doing enough. Terrible vibes and communication wouldn’t recommend this school they need more positive and better workers who actually love and care for these kids.Parent Review1y ago - Ps 25 Bilingual School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this school a few years ago. It's an amazing school! I was in P.S. 130 since first grade. The education there is great, and the teachers and staff are really nice. I'm not a current student at P.S. 130 anymore, but I got to School 30 in Yonkers. But I am writing this review because I want other students to attend this amazing school and meet new friends and have a good education. New students would love this school, and so will the parents! The classrooms are like big, there are smart boards, and I think there are closets in the classrooms so students can hang their bags and coats. I would love to visit P.S. 130 again, because it brings back amazing memories. I would recommend this school, 10/10!This review is written by Abigail BatistaOther Review1y ago - St. Anselm School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt Anselm has come along way. Things were shaky in the beginning but now with our new principal things are really shaping up. I am proud to have my children attend St Anselm school. They are always eager to learn and are treated with compassion.Parent Review1y ago - Girls Prep Bronx Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Principal at this school need not be here and she is not a principal for this school in the Bronx area, she does not know how to speak to the parents, I had a very serious thing had to my granddaughter, where another other child touched her private parts and she refuses to move her from the same classroom, she and the other staff literally say that my granddaughter is lying, that the child inappropriately touches her leg, what is the child hands doing on her legs. they expect the child and the kids around to say she did it or they see, it is just a natural thing she knows she ( the child) did wrong and she is in trouble. so she's not going to say she did it, and the kids do not want to get involved so they say they do not know. she said she speaks her network and that's what they tell her to do.Parent Review1y ago - St Anselm Parochial School
