Read what parents are saying about Ps 3 Raul Julia Micro SocietyAll three of my oldest children attended this School. The Staff have become like family. They pay close attention to each child and work with them individually if and when needed. Great communication between Teachers and Parents.
Posted by a parent on 4/8/2021Teachers, as well as, Administrators are easy accessible. Parents are treated with respect and can feel a welcoming atmosphere from school main office to classrooms.
Posted by a parent on 4/18/2017My son has attended PS #3 since kindergarten and he is currently in the fifth grade. The school is clean, safe and education centered. I love this school because teachers and administration are professional, while at the same time, making you and my child feel like family.

Posted by a parent on 4/28/2014This is the best school I've only went there for 7th & 8th grade I made lots of friends quickly & the teachers are very friendly. I wish I could relive the days when I was there Class of 2006.

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent school! My 6 yr old is in 1st grade and my 9 yr old is in 4th grade and has been attending this school since kindergarten. The teachers are very attentive, we communicate through email and face to face. The students have individual attention and both my son enjoying attending this school. They have awesome school trips like going apple picking, ice skating and to Lincoln Center. I know that my children are receiving top grade education here. The principal is very involved and committed in leading the way. There could be more parent involvement.Parent Review10y ago - Ps 23 The New Children S School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is terrible. It’s unorganized. I’m not impressed with the principal and there are unprofessional lazy teachers that do not care to teach the kids.Parent Review4y ago - Ps 32 Belmont

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will start by saying that the only great quality this school has is my child's teacher (1st year in the school as a kinder) Now let's talk a little about the bad qualities. *I do not like that the holiday festivities take place in the classrooms (this is why auditoriums exist in our schools, right?) The classrooms at least in regards to my child is not big enough to have 30 parents in there plus other children that parents bring along with them.*I do not like that parents are stopped by the security guards in the morning when dropping off the children. Meaning that you, the parent are not allowed to go pass the entrance door to drop off your child. *I do not like that the only way to communicate with your child's teacher is at dismissal when every other child's parent is picking up their child (which you, the parent can't voice your concerns let alone get privacy to voice those concerns)Bottom line is I, as a parent want to be involved in my child's day to day life as a student and P.S 32 BELMONT SCHOOL does not make me feel welcomed. I should be able to communicate with my child's teacher and not feel like I am dropping off my child at a jail with the security guard looking at me with a face as if my 5 year old is a criminal. A parent-teacher partnership is what I would want as a parent and unfortunately, this school is not allowing that. I hope it becomes a more family friendly environment because not being able to walk my child into the school or not being able to have conversations with the teacher on a one on one basis gives me a distaste about this school which is why my child cannot continue to attend this school. I hope its administration makes some improvements for the sake of the children who attend this school.Parent Review7y ago - Ps 59 The Community School Of Technology
