She was severely bullied, and despite bringing it to the administration's attention, nothing was done to protect her. She also showed little to none academic improvement throughout the year. I was forced to withdraw her with only a month left of school and begin homeschooling to ensure her safety and well-being. The "Charter School" name is misleading - the leadership and environment are far below expectations. The building was formerly a storage facility. The classrooms are cramped, and the lunchroom is extremely small. No recognition for trying to create a classroom community that works. Teachers and staff that really try to make things better get torn down, called out, and often brought in for disciplinary meetings.
