Read what parents are saying about Roxboro Road Elementary SchoolMy daughter had 4 wonderful years at this school and continues to achieve above grade level at her new school. Parents who are concerned about performance and test scores need to look first to the level of support provided at home.
Posted by a parent on 6/15/2017If you have a savings account use it to get your child a better education than at Roxboro. The teachers are tired and not full of ideas and charisma! Just around to get their tenure in. Any difficulties in the classroom will be ignored with a note to the parent to deal with it hours after the incident. Poor guidance on the principal.
Posted by a parent on 6/9/2014Awful experience here!!! Teachers seem burned out, non problem students are the ones who suffer as they are overlooked and ignored. The principal has no business being a leader of an entire school, I don't think she could lead herself out of a paper bag. Lots and lots of talk and ZERO action or accountability. Office staff is miserable and although I can appreciate a safe and secure learning environment, it is like a jail. Stop by the school around lunch time if you want to hear the lunch ladies berating and belittling the students.
Posted by a teacher on 4/11/2014I've had two children go through Roxboro Road Elementary school, and this school is wonderful. The teachers really care about the students and take the time to attend to their individual needs. The principal is very involved. My children have loved going here and it has been an overall wonderful experience!

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I was worried about a city school, but the laid back yet effective Montessori environment is amazing, they teach not only school subjects, but how to Excel in life.Parent Review4y ago - Salem Hyde Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo I'm giving Webster a 5 star due to the fact I'm 32 but when I attended Webster from Kindergarten - 5th Grade this was a amazing school had the most amazing teachers and councilor's who gave the best social & emotional support they succeeded in teaching me who was a child who suffered from Learning Disability & ADHD. but after looking at the reviews and scores here that if I was to place my children in this school they need to start getting their testing scores higher so that I know my children would be reaching their full potential.Other Review4mo ago - Ihsan School Of Excellence

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageas a parent who sent my child to Ihsan School of Excellence, I have nothing but disdain for this so-called educational institution. My experience with this school has been nothing short of a nightmare.Firstly, the staff at Ihsan School of Excellence are incompetent and unprofessional. They do not care about the well-being of their students and fail to provide a conducive learning environment. My child has been subjected to verbal abuse from some of the teachers, which is unacceptable and completely unprofessional.Furthermore, the curriculum at this school is outdated and irrelevant. My child is not learning anything new or challenging, and the materials provided are of poor quality. It's no wonder that the school is not producing any outstanding students. The facilities at Ihsan School of Excellence are also substandard. The classrooms are overcrowded, and the school's infrastructure is in dire need of renovation. It's unbelievable that this school charges exorbitant fees yet fails to provide adequate facilities for its students. In conclusion, I would strongly advise parents to steer clear of Ihsan School of Excellence. This school is not worth the time or money and has failed in its primary objective, which is to provide a quality education. I am enraged and disappointed that I trusted this institution with my child's education.Parent Review1y ago - St Margarets School
