Montebello Road School

Pros: my child genuinely did learn alot this year. For the first few weeks everything seems well.Teachers seem to like your child.They will provide one on one discussions with parents.Cons: The teachers and staff treat you like you don't exist. Literally they will say hi to your child and not even look your way during drop off.They make slick comments if they disapprove of the lunch you provide.The principle smiles alot but is very rude if you don't leave right away when you drop your child off. The teachers are quick to drop your childs time at the school if they are not compliant. They will continue to call you everyday to pick your child up the minute they don't do well. Teachers will not heat up the kids lunch if you don't heat it up. Even though they have a microwave in the classroom. They will feed your child cold food.They will send garbage home.

We have two boys that attend Sacred Heart School, and it is a great elementary school! The teachers are excellent and genuinely care for each and every student. Our kids are getting an excellent education and have opportunities to engage in great extra- curricular activities for music, science, etc. We are very pleased with the school, faculty and organization.

I attended this school as a child. I have lifelong CPTSD and panic disorder since attending this school. The teachers completely ignored my struggles with speech, learning difficulties, pencil grasp, and social anxiety. They basically left me to flail while punishing me constantly throughout the day for various reasons relating to the above. Specifically, Shayna Subar was my first grade Morah and screamed at me on the top of her lungs when I was not looking in the prayer book. She then became assistant principal and threatened to expel me for listening to secular music on my dismantle during lunch hour. She agreed to let me graduate after I attend 3 sessions with a psychologist and do extra homework. She told me I will be a bum on the street in a few years. She ruined my life and I will never fight what she did to me on top of the other teacher's allowing me to flail and struggle. I wanted to end my life many times thinking about these experiences.
