Bad school. Even they put you in the program you don’t need to recieve money… terrible people

This school is welcoming to a majority of students, but does not do their due diligence for students with disabilities. There is either investors, or majority of parents, or something that keeps this school particularly from keeping them coming to terms with the idea that special education is not something to be ashamed of and or making parents of special needs children feel the need to work extra hard to explain their child's circumstances. Teacher's, staff, and a majority of schools since 2013 have been updated on general knowledge of autism and that there are various forms and how broad it is. To have to make parents get advocates for their children due to lack of knowledge at a school is concerning. If we have to ban peanuts, why is it so unusual to have safe spaces for children who become I overstimulated. Many schools recognize this concept, PS 41 does not. Even planning events (for the entire school) special education is not taken into consideration. I hope this does change, and they do better in the future.

It's an elementary school, Prek3-through 5, serving about 165 students. The school community tends to be small enough that students might get more individual attention. There's some mental health/ social worker support, though the number of social workers per student. Strength: relatively small class sizes, potential for more personal attention. I highly recommend P.S.046.

Really disappointed with this school. There is no parent engagement only in pre-k or anything fun for the kids only the carnival.

St Christopher was the best school with the best staff and amazing families. There will never be another school like it.
