John S Hobart Elementary School

I have had 2 children go to this school and both have had positive experiences. The staff genuinely cares for the students well being and acedemic success, and as such my children have excelled.

I used to go to this school my name is ryleigh csabon and iv been looking for my bff govinna rotezz I now live in Southampton but I still wish I could see her again I know she goes to this school or she used too pls show this to her if shes in the school thanks :( :( :( :( :( :( :( but I have a plan to see her if shes in the school tell her to go to 18 beachwood NY Sherly mastic beach its my old house tell her to look I the mail box and that I for got to but the beads in the first letter it will me in the other letter they both have sticker hope to see her soon :( :)

No computers or chromebook for kids to learn & grow individually. I feel there should be more to offer the students, especially being it's such a large school; it almost makes it impersonal. Good staff.

In my 6 years of experience with the school, I’ve found that the younger teachers are great and motivated to engage with students. The older teachers and disenchanted and stuck in their ways, unwilling to explore different learning styles or put in extra time for a child struggling. If your child learns differently and doesn’t quite fit into an exact mold, they will get forgotten. There are not enough resources for students struggling academically or emotionally.
