They do a fantastic job of teaching not only the traditional 8 elements in school, but have a hands on garden the kids tend to, a growing fruit orchard the kids help plant, maple trees they will tap for syrup, teach about composting, meditation, kindnes

Posted by a parent on 9/13/2018overall the school experience is good and no concerns. This site show that this school is upto 8th grade which is wrong. this school is from KG to 5th only from last 2 years.

My child told me that a student threw a chair at a teacher. The teachers completely ignore threats unless there told by smarter children or are suicidal threats. They have introduced so many new activities like books and basketball! Pushing for fun & learning! They’re constantly showing the parents they want them be involved and feel included; by celebrating Mother’s Day and Father’s Day at Keane. The new principal is great! I’m so grateful for all the staff and can’t thank them enough for all of their dedication during and outside of school hours. They have sacrificed nights and Saturdays to show the students they care and love to see them happy! Thank you Mrs.Messler for all the positive changes you’ve implemented these past two years. Not only do i feel part of the Keane family! I see the love you guys have for every child that walks in those doors. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m very happy with my child’s experience at St. Kateri’s. How many kids do you know who get up set when there is a snow day? I don’t know many. But that is how my daughter feels. She is so happy to get back to her teacher and friends every day. I feel she is truly cared about at this school. Not only are the teachers caring, but the principal has to be one of the kindest and caring people I have ever met. It is clear that her number 1 priority is the well being of ALL the students at this school. I feel lucky that my daughter has so many caring people around her at school.
