8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved for NY for a better school district and it was more than worth it! We were able to get a 504 plan within DAYS. Ms Eisenstein is very dynamic and on top of it all! Ms Corrente, the social worker, made my child feel safe and supported and so comfortable going to school. The math intervention, Ms Cotter, can not even describe with words her care and teaching method. My child was able to advance 3 years in math and graduate on level! Dr Russo, the Principal, also very caring. Truly a wonderful school with wonderful teachers and a wonderful support specially for special needs students. School is beautiful as well! Great atmosphere! Wonderful support both Academically and Emotionally!Parent Review2mo ago32 Reviews - Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school all the way from Pre-K to 6th grade, and leaving was the best decision my parents ever made. At the school, I was manipulated, and was uncomfortable almost every second of every day. For learning, the teachers don't care how different students may learn, the have a "if you get it, you get it, and if you don't, you don't" mentality. Most refuse to answer questions for students, and are told to ask their parents when they get home. This is part of the reason why when I got to my new school, I was so behind, and I still struggle with asking people for help with anything to this day. The was they deal with Special education is a joke. They leave disabled kids to fend for themselves, offering 0 extra support. I remember there was one girl in my class who would get yelled at every day for not understanding as well as the other kids. After I left, one of my closest, and someone who I would have considered to be my best friend told me about a truly disgusting punishment. Apparently, and new person in the grade had been strapped via 3 giant rubber bands to their chair because they would occasionally stand up. (Mind you this student had severe autism and ADHD) and another kid was grabbed by the collar by a math teacher. (I didn't see these events personally, but I had multiple friends tell me about this.) A lot (not all) teachers are also really mean and disrespectful to students. They yell and scream just so that they can feel that they have some sort of power. They are also wrong a lot of the time. I remember specifically one teacher taught my entire class and I that walking wasn't a form of transportation. The safety is alright, but that is only because it is a Catholic school, and not a public school, so there aren't as many threats. There is no counselor, and every teacher could care less how your doing socially and mentally. There is some family engagement, but it feels very forced, and they have made my parents feel very uncomfortable in the past. The food is also just awful. I remember to specific occasions where they fed us raw meatballs, and they tried to cover it up by putting tomato sauce on top. Another instance was when they fed us chicken with green spots all over. We were forced to eat this food, and would get punished if we didn't eat every last bit. They also just don't have many opportunities such as sports. Overall, I would not recommend this school to your child, ESPECIALLY if they have any type of learning disability.Other Review2mo ago15 Reviews - Resurrection School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has ongoing issues with high teacher turnover, bullying, student inappropriate use of electronics during school., hard to believe that a catholic school WiFi does not block adult sites.
