5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is shockingly bad considering that it's k-6. Levels of violence. The principle has a "my hands are tied" approach and problem children fall through the cracks. Much of the teaching staff feel trapped. They're great people, but are permitted no control. Th city of Rochester school district is a disaster and it matches the city it's in. We're trying desperately to escape. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs far as the School in general it is the best one my children have attended. Now when it comes to Special Education this school fails 100%. What I have noticed is the children aren't really learning and just get passed from grade to grade just so that the teachers no longer have to deal with them. The teachers will complain and complain until the parent gets tired and either moves the child or contacts the board. As for Special Education in all RCSD, This entire system has failed our children deeply and it is extremely unfortunate to see many children with so much potential and talents go down the drain because this system drops children along the way.
