My grandson used to come here and he got bullied and even elbow punched in the mouth this is a horrible school.

Posted by a parent on 12/8/2017I went to St. Leo's and graduated in 1958. There were nuns their at the time. Don't know if they are still there. They were wonderful and I got a good education. It was a very safe place to be. Diana

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was there for a year at this school. The principal there provided little to no support. If she was angry and that's most of the times, she takes it out on you. And the students? Most of them were okay. But there were two that got away with MANY of the behaviors because the principal didn't do anything to address it.The staff? They were mostly okay. But unhappy principal means unhappy staff.Ever since I left, I blossomed into a better teacher. And this school? 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are satisfied with PS143. My sons receive a superb education here and I see a lot of progress with academics over the years. My niece is here too and my sister raves about the support from the teachers and even the principal who listens and makes things better and cares about us. I wish the after school program had more seats because I’m on the waitlist. I feel safe and my sons never want to miss a day of school because they love school. I wish it was a middle school too.
