The administration has good intentions but falls short in most areas.

this school lured parents and students into their school but there was nothing special about this school. It is small and they lack resources. Leadership leaves a lot to be desired.

The most important thing is my child's happiness and my child is very happy at queens school of inquiry or as they call it QSI. The staff is always very nice and communicate a lot with us parents. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews, those people must not have experienced other schools out there. My other child went to a different middle school where they didn't have the high expectations that the teachers have for the kids at QSI. QSI is very advanced and the teachers always help and even give up their lunch time to help the kids. I don't know about you but my lunch hour is very important to me but these teachers really care about the kids. I always feel welcome at the school and I like that it is advanced. I can't wait until my child goes to high school and has the college classes. I didn't go to college so this is something I appreciate and love the opportunity it's giving the kids in the community to be positive role models.

While students are given the opportunity to take college courses the experience at this school is terrible. There are bullying that occurs and when one complains the teachers/guidance counselor and principal takes sides. My child experience was terrible. Teachers are very bias. If you or your child are aware that you have the right to speak up and make use of that right then your child becomes the "untouchable" and is treated as terrible which leads to isolation. The point is that if you can shut up and have your child treated unfairly then this is the school for him/her. The principal and teachers and most importantly the guidance counselor needs to attend workshops to help them understand how to work with children from various background. Also, they need to understand that everyone has rights not only the students they are friends with.

I started this school in 2010 and I'm now in 9 grade. The school is a good school. Some teacher will help you like Mr.Dimonte and Mr. Skulikidis. The school has a good curriculum but I feel sometimes is not as hard as I expected. Now the environment suck. Most people wants to move because it really doesn't feel like a high school. I mean at the end memories are the one that will be there. N in this school I feel that the day goes slow. It's a boring school with good education.
