The school respects and embraces diversity, and from the top down, everyone was courteous and professional. The school offers many additional programs for both students, parents and the community including ESL breakfasts and parent corps

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePS 85Q used to be a very good school. It still has wonderful teachers and a dedicated PTO. However, the administration stonewalls parents, ignores requests for meetings, does not communicated anything so all information to parents is rumor based. In 2023, the administration closed classrooms, moved students around to different teachers, removed teachers from classrooms without any communication to parents. She makes my son feel safe and comfortable such that he is excited to go to school everyday. The PTO is very active and engaged. The nurses and all the staff are very dedicated and attentive.
