My child recently graduated from this school, and I have been deeply disappointed with the experience. This school does not value academic performance. Over the years, I’ve watched many excellent students leave—either transferring to Gifted and Talented programs or other schools.Until 5th grade, my child often complained about not being able to find capable peers to collaborate with on schoolwork. I didn’t send him to a G&T program earlier because I thought elementary school was basic enough that we could support his learning at home. Unfortunately, I was wrong.My child used to be an incredibly curious learner who loved science and math. However, due to the school’s lack of academic focus and absence of like-minded peers, he gradually lost that curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. If your child is self-driven, curious, and academically inclined, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I couldn't agree more with the previous parent aboit the principal that governs her school with an iron fist. I can't complain about the teachers there, they are great, but the principal has no social skills and can be very demeaning. My child graduated from there and walked away with a lot of positive memories there. I cant magine the stress and anxiety the teachers must have in there. Lighten up a little lady!!

The second-grade teacher in classroom 203 often raises her voice and frightens the students, frequently yelling at them with or without cause. It was a difficult experience. I hope the students in the current school year are assigned a different teacher.

The first review I read about the faculty being disengaged and unable to hear any criticism is so true. There is an older woman behind the scenes who is really the boss, who when questioned during covid about class sizes abused the parents for asking! There are so many better options in the area both private and public. My child was bullied and hit , and I was made the bad guy for complaining. Bullying rampant . Local will confirm. The school has a bad reputation for good reason.Mandatory strong armed fund raisers, money requests almost everyday, abusive nasty teachers whose own grand children go to other schools. No passion for anything but your money and their reputation.Locally people know its horribleI would never post this if I didn't think people should know

I am a RACA alumni now at Chaminade and I can confidently say it has prepared me for high school and it was some of the best nine years of my life making friends that I’m still close with today a great school for anyone K-8.

It has been my pleasure to send my preschooler here. In just 5 months she is more confident with math, reading and social engagement. Ms Motiani, the preschool age 3-5 teacher, is the epitome of professionalism and kindness. My daughter has become as articulate and compassionate as she is. It’s once in a lifetime that you find talented educators who enrich children starting from the early years. This school is a great example of dedicated education for early learners.
